01/18/24 - For Immediate Release: The Dubuque Police Department wants to remind citizens of the City’s street storage ordinance which prohibits vehicles from being parked on the street and not moved for more than 24 hours. The removal of these vehicles from the street by owners is vital to the completion of snow and ice removal operations. Police officers are actively enforcing this ordinance and vehicles that remain snowed in from last week’s storm will soon be towed. If you have neighbors, friends, or family who need assistance in digging out and moving their vehicles, please assist them. A violation of this ordinance may result in a 15 dollar fine along with towing and administrative fees.
