Applications Now Open for the City of Dubuque Community Development Block Grant Program
Oct. 2, 2023
Applications are now being accepted for the City of Dubuque's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
The primary objective of the CDBG program is the development of viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment and expanding economic opportunities, principally for persons of low- to moderate-income. For-profit, not for-profit, and faith-based organizations located in the city are eligible to apply.
CDBG funding is for acquisition, construction, or other infrastructure. Funding is not available for services. The funding for the CDBG program is determined by the City Council during the budget process. The Adopted Fiscal Year 2025 budget allocates $280,000 for the competition.
