Special Events at Flora and Sutton Pools, Adult Swim Hours Extended Aug. 14 - 18

This week, City of Dubuque Leisure Services is hosting several end-of-season special events at Flora and Sutton Pools. In addition, morning adult swim hours at the pools will be extended to 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. next week, Aug. 14 - 18. 

Tuesday, August 8

Free Movie Night at Flora Pool

Join us on the lawn of Flora Pool behind the diving boards for a showing of the movie Cars! Swimmers at Flora Pool during evening open swim (6 - 8 p.m.) may stay on the grass area until the movie begins. Non-swimmers may enter the facility starting at 8:30 p.m. The movie will begin at dusk. Bring your own lawn chair or towel. All safety and code of conduct rules apply; those who do not comply will be asked to leave.

Wednesday, August 9

Swim Party at Sutton Pool, 6 - 8 p.m.

We are amping up the fun during our evening open swim! The DJ will play music while our swimmers make a splash! Fun and games for all will be offered on the grass area. Regular admission applies.

Thursday, August 10 

Flotation Night at Flora & Sutton Pools, 6 - 8 p.m. 

Bring your own floaty and squirt guns! Regular admission applies.

Flotation Night Rules:

1. The maximum size of flotation device is seventy-five (75) inches.
2. Standing on or jumping onto flotation devices is not allowed.
3. A flotation device may not support more than two people.
4. Disturbing or capsizing other pool patrons using flotation devices is not allowed.
5. Flotation devices are not permitted in diving well area.
6. Non-swimmers should use flotation devices in shallow water only and be closely supervised by parents.
7. Squirt guns are allowed in pool, but can NOT be used on deck or turf areas.

Friday, August 11

Free-Admission Night at Flora & Sutton Pools, 6 - 8 p.m.

Admission to Flora and Sutton Pools is waived during evening open swim from 6 - 8 p.m.
