City of Dubuque Independence Day Holiday Service Changes

City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday. This includes City Hall and other City offices throughout the city.
There will be no trash, yard debris, recycling, or large item pick-up collections on Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4. Those Tuesday collections will instead be made on the preceding Saturday, July 1. The Dubuque Metro Landfill will also be closed on Independence Day.
The first City Council meeting of July will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, rather than the first Monday of the month.
On July 3, Flora Pool will be open 7 - 8:30 a.m. and 12 - 1 p.m. for adult swim and 1 - 4:30 p.m. for open swim. Sutton Pool will be open 7 - 8:30 a.m. and 12 - 1 p.m. for adult swim only. There is no open swim at Sutton on July 3.
On July 4, Flora and Sutton pools will be open 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for adult swim and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for open swim. All swimming lessons at both pools will not be held on Independence Day.

The Jule will not operate on Independence Day. Parking meter expiration violations will not be enforced on the holiday.
The outdoor warning siren testing that normally occurs on the first Tuesday of every month will instead occur on Wednesday, July 5, at 9:30 a.m.
