Flooding Forces Closure of Portion of Admiral Sheehy Drive 

April 26, 2023 -- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Admiral Sheehy Drive is closed between E. 16th Street and the Dubuque Ice Arena entrance for flood management until further notice.  

Traffic is being detoured to Greyhound Park Road for access to the Dubuque Ice Arena, McAleece Sports Complex, and Veterans Memorial Plaza. This closure does not affect access to Q Casino. All of those facilities remain open and operating their normal hours. Due to this closure, there will be no access to businesses on Marina Drive and Waikiki Drive.  

Motorists will need follow the posted detour different route during this time. A map of this and other detours in Dubuque is available at www.cityofdubuque.org/detours
