NW Arterial Northbound Road Closure between Catfish Creek Bridge and Pennsylvania Ave.

Due to the Northwest Arterial State of Good Repair Project, the northbound lanes of the Northwest Arterial from the Catfish Creek bridge to just south of Pennsylvania Ave. will close on Wednesday, April 19. The closure is expected to begin mid-morning at approximately 9 a.m.

At this time, traffic will be shifted to head-to-head (two-way traffic) in the southbound lanes of the Northwest Arterial. Access will be maintained at the Chavenelle Rd. intersection. However, there will be temporary traffic signals and changing traffic patterns through the intersection during construction. Motorists will need to use caution in the area. Updates will be provided as the project progresses and adjustments are made to the Chavenelle Rd. intersection.

In addition, the Associates Dr. right-in, right-out access just north of the Catfish Creek bridge will be temporarily closed. The reconstruction of this section of the Northwest Arterial northbound lanes is expected to be finished in mid-June.
