Applications Now Open for the City of Dubuque Purchase of Services Grant Program

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Applications are now open for the City of Dubuque Purchase of Services Grant Program.

The Purchase of Services Grant Program provides support for human service programs in the city of Dubuque that further the City’s goals, objectives, and priorities. Not for-profit and faith-based organizations located in the city providing year-round human services programs are eligible to apply.

Funding for the Purchase of Services Grant program is determined by the City Council during the budget process. The Adopted Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget allocates $100,000 for the competition.

Three grant applicant workshops will be provided:

• Tuesday, April 18, from 10 - 11 a.m. at the Housing and Community Development Department, Historic Federal Building, 350 W. 6th St.  
• Friday, April 21, from 1 - 2 p.m. (virtual)
• Thursday, April 27, from 3 - 4 p.m. (virtual)

Workshop registration, grant guidelines, and the grant application form can be found on the City’s website at www.cityofdubuque.org/POSG. Grant applications are due at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 4.
