City of Dubuque Health Department Seeking Cat Involved in Biting Incident

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The City of Dubuque Health Services Department is seeking information regarding a cat involved in a biting incident with a adult male that occurred on Sunday, January 8th, after 5:00 p.m. in the area of the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.  The cat escaped the owner's home. The cat is described as a female domestic short hair, with tortoise shell coat. Half of the cat's face is tan and the other half black with a tan left front paw.   Please call Animal Control if located; do not pick the cat up. 
 
The Health Department needs the public's assistance in finding this cat to verify the cat’s health status and vaccination history. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Health Services Department at 589-4185 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or the Law Enforcement Center at 589-4415 after hours or on the weekend.
