Dubuque Airport Install Solar PV Public Hearing

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, AND ESTIMATED COST FOR INSTALL SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM PROJECT FOR THE DUBUQUE REGIONAL AIRPORT, DUBUQUE, IOWA
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:  The Dubuque Regional Airport Commission, Dubuque, Iowa, will hold a public hearing at a meeting in the Dubuque Regional Airport Terminal Conference Room, 10965 Aviation Road, Dubuque, Iowa on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost for Install Solar Photovoltaic System Project in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 26, Code of Iowa, at 4:00 p.m. on November 29, 2022. 
 
Said proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost are now on file in the office of the Dubuque Regional Airport.  At said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements.
 
General Nature of Public Improvement
Project will include: Installation of a solar PV array and electrical infrastructure to serve the passenger terminal. The array is located south of the Terminal, south of the Terminal parking lots and south of the Terminal exit drive, on the grassy embankment that was created during construction of the Terminal Building. Solar PV System size is 300 kW DC ground-mounted array with the possibility for a 200 kW-hr (nominal) battery and bi-directional inverter (300 KW) storage. The array will be connected to the Terminal electrical service at the west end of the Terminal with the installation of a new electrical feeder. The Engineer’s opinion of probable construction cost is $1,175,000.
