Structure Fire at 890 West Third Street Today

STRUCTURE FIRE AT 890 WEST THIRD STREET

The Dubuque Fire Department was dispatched at 12:51 p.m. today (Tuesday, Nov. 8) for a structure fire at 890 W. Third St.

The initial response arrived at 12:54 p.m. and observed some smoke and small fire on the exterior of the property. Upon entry, staff discovered fire throughout the home. An additional engine and ambulance were dispatched to the scene and an additional engine was called for shortly after. Asbury Fire Department and Key West Fire Department provided station coverage for Dubuque Fire units committed to the incident. Farley Fire was called to provide an air trailer to support the crews fighting the fire. Dubuque Fire was also assisted on scene by the Dubuque Police Department and the Office of Shared Prosperity and Neighborhood Support.

No injuries to occupants or firefighters were reported. An investigation on the cause of the fire is ongoing.
