Police Investigate Death on Railroad Tracks

March 31, 2022 -- For Immediate Release


DUBUQUE, Iowa – On March 31, 2022, at approximately 12:01 p.m. the Dubuque Police Department responded to the East 11th/Elm Street railroad crossing for the report of a person hit by a southbound train.  An adult male was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the deceased may be released within the next several days, pending appropriate next of kin notifications.

No foul play is suspected.
