City of Dubuque Health Department Seeking Cat Involved in Biting Incident

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The City of Dubuque Health Services Department is seeking a cat which was involved in a biting incident at 5 pm on Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 at the Dubuque Humane Society, 4242 Chavenelle Road, Dubuque. The cat is described as a brown and black tiger stripe, with small patches of orange, weighing approximately 15 pounds. The individual found the cat on N. Booth Street and was attempting to take it into the Humane Society. The cat was last seen running from the Humane Society towards the Northwest arterial.
The Health Department needs the public's assistance in finding this cat to verify the cat's health status and vaccination history. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Health Services Department at 589-4185 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or the Law Enforcement Center at 589-4415 after hours or on the weekend.
