Registrations Now Open for Adult Summer Volleyball and Softball Leagues

Registrations for City of Dubuque Leisure Services summer adult athletics are now open. The deadline to register for volleyball and softball leagues is Friday, April 8. Get a team together and look forward to some outdoor fun this summer! 

Volleyball Leagues

Volleyball includes women's and mixed leagues. All of the leagues are designed to be recreational and fun. However, in an effort to keep the games fair and competitive we have classified the leagues into different divisions.  Note, divisions may be combined if there are not enough teams registered. 

• “A” League – Competitive
• “B” League – Intermediate
• “C” League – Recreational

All volleyball leagues begin the week of May 2. Matches will be played at Flora Park between 6 - 10 p.m. and all teams will receive a 14 match regular season.

Resident Team Fee: $210 per team
Non-resident Team Fee: $235 per team

Softball Leagues

Softball includes men's, women's, and mixed leagues. All of the leagues are designed to be recreational and fun. However, in an effort to keep the games fair and competitive we have classified the leagues into different divisions.

• “A” League – Competitive
• “B” League – Intermediate
• "C" League – Recreational 

All leagues begin the week of Sunday, April 24, and all games will be played at McAleece Park & Recreation Complex. Game times vary and include 6 p.m, 7 p.m., 8 p.m., or 9 p.m. There is a maximum of 8 teams per league. All leagues play 14 games, unless specified.

Resident Team Fee: $500 per team
Non-resident Team Fee: $525 per team

How To Register

Registration with full payment will be accepted through Friday, April 8, at the Leisure Services Department located at 1157 Central Ave. open Monday -Thursday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. or via email with full payment over the phone with a credit card.
