Joint Investigation Leads to 11 Arrests

DUBUQUE, Iowa – On February 8th and February 9th, 2022, the Dubuque Police Department, Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, and the Iowa State Patrol conducted a joint operation targeting human trafficking through prostitution in the Dubuque area. Investigators posted ads on websites often utilized for prostitution. The below individuals responded to the ads and arranged a meeting with the undercover officer(s) at Mainstay Suites 1275 Associates Dr. to purchase sex acts in exchange for money.

The investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are possible.

Timothy Griffin, 32, of Dickeyville, WI- Prostitution, Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and served a Probation Violation arrest warrant
Craig Mason, 57, Stoughton, WI- Prostitution
Vincent Hanson, 59, of Dubuque, IA- Prostitution
Timothy McAndrews, 57, of Dubuque, IA- Prostitution
Joshua Vondran, 40, of Epworth, IA- Prostitution

Prostitution is an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by up to two years of imprisonment.
Possession of a controlled substance is a serious misdemeanor punishable by up to one year of imprisonment.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia is a simple misdemeanor punishable by up to 30 days in jail.
Interference with Official Acts is a simple misdemeanor punishable by up to 30 days in jail.
