46 County Hospitalizations: Today, MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center has 26 inpatients with COVID-19 and UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital has 20 for a total of 46 people hospitalized with COVID in Dubuque County. Please note: This count is NOT limited to Dubuque County residents and may include area residents from outside Dubuque County.
Statewide, 823 Iowans are hospitalized with COVID, the highest number so far this year and 46 more than last Wednesday. 77.8% of those currently hospitalized due to COVID and 82.7% of those in ICU due to COVID are unvaccinated individuals.
