Dubuque Countywide Response to Coronavirus(COVID-19)


COVID-19 vaccines are available: 

  • At no cost

  • To people age 12 and up

  • No matter your immigration status

  • With or without health insurance

COVID-19 boosters are available: 

  • People 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive a booster shot of Pfizer vaccine at least six months after their second dose of Pfizer.
  • People 50 - 64 years of age with underlying medical conditions should receive a booster shot of Pfizer vaccine at least six months after their second dose of Pfizer.
  • People 18 - 49 years of age with underlying medical conditions may receive a booster shot of Pfizer vaccine at least six months after their second dose of Pfizer based on their individual benefits and risks.
  • People 18 - 64 years of age who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting may receive a booster shot of Pfizer vaccine at least six months after their second

Friday, Oct. 1, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Dubuque Visiting Nurses Association, 660 Iowa St., Dubuque

Walk-in vaccinations of Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson administered by the Dubuque Visiting Nurses Association.

Saturday, Oct. 2, 1 – 4 p.m.
Dubuque Latinx Festival, Washington Park, 700 Locust St., Dubuque

Walk-in vaccinations of Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson administered by the Dubuque Visiting Nurses Association.

Saturday, Oct. 2, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
MercyOne Dubuque Cancer Center, 150 Mercy Dr., Dubuque

Pfizer booster clinic. Appointments are required and can be scheduled online at MercyOne.org/dubuque.

All MercyOne Pharmacies in Dubuque County and all Hartig Drug locations in Dubuque are also offering booster vaccinations. For details on these providers, visit www.dubuquecounty.org/sleevesup.
