Seatbelt Compliance Survey Results

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Dubuque Police Department conducted a seatbelt compliance survey on August 23, 2021. The results of this survey are reported to the Governor’s Traffic Safety Bureau. The survey results are calculated from a random sampling of 100 vehicles. This survey was conducted at N. Grandview and Delhi Street.

The survey results are as follows:
Of the 100 vehicles observed 92 of the drivers were wearing a seatbelt, For a compliance rate of 92%

      The Dubuque Police Department will maintain both awareness and enforcement of safety belt and child restraint violations. Our goal is to continue to reduce serious injury and fatality accidents.
