6th Annual Summer Sustainability Fair at the Bee Branch Creek Greenway on Thursday, July 22

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Green Iowa AmeriCorps is hosting the 6th Annual Summer Sustainability Fair at the Bee Branch Creek Greenway on Thursday, July 22, from 5 - 7 p.m. The fair will be located along the creekside trail between E. 22nd St. and E. 24th St.

The fair will showcase the variety of ways organizations and businesses can promote sustainable communities through local economy, healthy ecosystems, and social equity. Over fifteen local organizations will be highlighting their efforts including the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium, Mines of Spain, ISU Extension and Outreach, Green Dubuque, Dubuque County Energy District, and the Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency (DMASWA). 

A family-friendly event, fair activities will include interactive booths with free giveaways, educational demonstrations, and information regarding free and low cost services in the community. There will also be musical entertainment, electric vehicle viewing, and food available for purchase from Hot Diggity Dogz.
