Online Voting for People's Choice Award Now Open
2021 Winter Arts Snow Sculpting Competition
Since Wednesday, February 10, snow sculpting teams have been working in Washington Park in downtown Dubuque to transform six-feet square by eight-feet high block of manufactured snow into incredible works of snow art.
You can now
vote from 12-3PM today for your favorite snow sculpture online to help choose the 2021 Winter Arts People's Choice Award Winner.
This year's event featured 2 professional teams from Dubuque and a team representing the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. A State of Iowa award winner will also be selected today by a jury of 3 arts professionals to advance to the U.S. National Snow and Sculpting Competition in Lake Geneva, Wis.

Drive-by viewing of the sculptures is encouraged; sculptures are located on the Bluff Street side of Washington Park between 7th and 6th Streets. Washington Park remains open to foot traffic; masks are required and social distancing should be adhered to by those viewing the sculptures on foot.

the
City of Dubuque Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs and the
Dubuque Museum of Art.
