Dec. 30, 2020 -- For Immediate Release

DUBUQUE, Iowa – As of 6 a.m. this morning, the City of Dubuque Public Works Department had plowed and de-iced all primary and secondary streets. The department currently has 19 units and 11 additional small plows in working residential areas.

Residents are reminded that, due to the amount of snow received, it will take several passes of the plows to push back snow from the driving lanes. As a result, residents may need to clear their driveway approach more than once if they clear it before plows have finished their street.

The City’s solid waste and recycling collections will be collected today as scheduled but may run later than normal.
