Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule for City of Dubuque Services

DUBUQUE, Iowa – City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27, for the Thanksgiving holiday. This includes City Hall and other City offices and facilities throughout the city of Dubuque.

There will be no trash, yard debris, or curbside recycling collections on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26. Those Thursday collections will instead be made on the following Saturday, Nov. 28. There is no change in schedule for curbside collections on Friday, Nov. 27. As a reminder, materials need to be set out by 6 a.m. The Dubuque Metro Landfill will also be closed on Thanksgiving Day but will operate normal hours on Friday and Saturday.

The Jule Transit will not operate on Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, Nov. 27, The Jule’s fixed route buses, mini-buses, and downtown shuttle will operate their normal schedule and routes. The Dubuque Intermodal Transportation Center will be closed both Thursday and Friday.
