DUBUQUE, Iowa – Dubuque Mayor Roy D. Buol’s “State of the City” for fall 2020 focuses on the progress of critical infrastructure projects that had begun prior to the pandemic.
The address shares updates on the Bee Branch Creek railroad culverts, the Roosevelt Street Water Tower, the Southwest Arterial, and the Veterans Memorial Plaza project. Buol notes while these projects have mostly continued during the pandemic, much of life has not due to COVID-19. “It is critical that we remain vigilant in our community’s response against COVID-19 and follow the guidance of our public health and infectious disease experts,” said Buol.
