Deaths
No additional deaths were reported in Dubuque County so the county total remains at 22. Two additional deaths were reported statewide, increasing the state death total to 688.
Testing
As of 2 p.m. today, the IDPH website reported that 7,917 Dubuque County residents have been tested, up 309 from yesterday, with a positive test rate of 5.7 percent. 265,075 Iowans have been tested, an increase of 6,073 since yesterday, for a positive test rate of 9.9 percent. One in 12 Dubuque County residents have been tested and one in 12 Iowa residents.
Long-Term Care Facility Outbreaks
According to the IDPH, as of 2 p.m. today there are 30 long-term care facilities in Iowa with COVID-19 outbreaks, one less than yesterday. There is one long-term care facility outbreak in Dubuque County at Dubuque Specialty Care, which has 51 positive cases and 24 recovered cases (two more recoveries than yesterday). Statewide, IDPH is reporting 890 positive cases at long-term care facilities (16 fewer than reported yesterday), 540 recovered (10 more than reported yesterday), and 356 deaths (no change from yesterday). The number of cases and recovered include both residents and staff.
Hospitalizations & Recoveries
As of today, 163 Iowans were hospitalized due to COVID-19, six fewer than than yesterday. The number of Dubuque County residents hospitalized is zero, the same as yesterday. Statewide, 16,546 Iowans have recovered (up 306 from yesterday), including 244 Dubuque County residents (three more than yesterday).
Test Iowa Assessments & Dubuque Clinic
As of 2 p.m. today, Dubuque County residents had completed 20,018 Test Iowa assessments, an increase of 839 since yesterday.
A free Test Iowa Clinic is being held in Dubuque from through Friday, June 26, at Epic Health and Wellness Clinic, 1075 Cedar Cross Road. Any Iowan who would like to be tested for COVID-19 at this location must first complete the Test Iowa assessment at www.testiowa.com. They will then be provided an identification number, which is required to be tested. To take an assessment or request a test, visit www.testiowa.com.
Appointments are not required but you must have an Iowa ID and your Test Iowa identification number in order to be tested. Testing at the Epic Health and Wellness site will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday.
