City to Hold Virtual FY2021 Budget Public Meeting on Monday, March 23

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The City of Dubuque will hold the FY2021 Budget Public Meeting scheduled for Monday, March 23, at 6 p.m. as a virtual meeting.
City council members and City staff will participate by webinar and the meeting will be broadcast live on CityChannel Dubuque (Mediacom cable channels 8 and 117.2), streamed live and archived on the City’s website at
www.cityofdubuque.org/media, and streamed live on the City’s Facebook page at
www.facebook.com/cityofdubuque.
The public is invited to provide input on the FY2021 budget prior to or during the meeting. Ways to provide questions or comments include:
The City will also show the budget meeting on the TV monitors and projection screen in the City Council Chambers on the second floor of the Historic Federal Building at 350 W. 6
th St. The City can accommodate no more than 10 people in the room and social distancing recommendations will be followed. The City highly encourages people to view and participate in the budget meeting through the virtual options. Coming to the Council Chambers should only be considered if someone does not have access to a TV, internet, or phone and it is the only option available to that person to watch the meeting or provide input.
Monday’s meeting will include presentations from the following departments/divisions:
- Emergency Management
- Emergency Communications
- Police Department
- Fire Department
- Building Services Department
