[ARCHIVED] Swim lessons - Saturday morning / Wednesday evening

The Leisure Services Department is offering swim lessons for ages six and older on Saturday mornings beginning on February 13th at 9:00, 9:40, 10:20 and 11:00 a.m., as well as Wednesday evenings beginning on Wednesday, February 17th at 7:00 p.m. and 7:40 p.m.

The following swim skill levels are offered: Beginner I, Beginner II, Advanced beginner I, Advanced beginner II, Intermediate and Swimmer. Classes meet for eight, thirty-five minute lessons.

We are also offering an Aquatots class for children ages 1 to 3 years old. This is a class for both parents and children to share their water experience! Children will be encouraged to explore, experience and enjoy the water; parents will learn how to teach their child basic swimming skills while promoting a safe water environment. Classes will be held at Hempstead Pool on Saturdays from 11:35 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., beginning on February 13th through April 3rd.
