[ARCHIVED] Shooting Victim Identified

The victim from yesterday's shooting in Dubuque is identified as Central A. Hightower of Dubuque

At 2:09 P.M. Tuesday, November 7, 2017, Dubuque
Police responded to a report of shots fired in the alley between Jefferson andW. 11th St.’s near the alley’s intersection with Walnut St.  Upon arrival, officers found a 24-year-old
male victim in the alley suffering from three gunshot wounds.  That victim is identified as Central A. Hightower, 24, of Dubuque.  Hightower remains hospitalized at Unity PointFinley Hospital in stable condition following surgery yesterday to treat the
gunshot wounds he received. 


At this time, no arrests have been made and policecontinue the investigation into the shooting of Hightower.  Anyone with information regarding this
shooting is asked to call the Dubuque Police Dept. at (563) 589-4415.
