The Dubuque Police Department is joining forces with Target, the Dubuque Multicultural Family Center, Dubuque Leisure Service, our area Neighborhood Associations, and numerous other crime prevention advocates to bring National Night Out (NNO) to our community for the 4th consecutive year. NNO is an annual, nationwide, crime prevention event that promotes police-community partnership, safety and neighborhood unity. This is the 30th anniversary for NNO, with an estimated 37.5 million people in nearly 16,000 communities nationwide participating each year.

Join us at Comiskey Park (24th / 25th & Jackson / Washington St.) on Tuesday, August 6th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for this entirely free event that includes food, beverages, games, a bounce-house/slide and gifts for the kids. Police and Fire Department vehicles will also be on display. At dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.), the Multicultural Family Center will show the movie “Despicable Me” outside at the community building.

Help build a safer, stronger community by attending National Night Out. For more information, call Lt. Scott Baxter at the number listed above or via email: sbaxter@cityofdubuque.org.
