The Leisure Services Department attempts to provide recreational activities for mentally and physically challenged members of the community. Recreational experiences may include physical, social, and creative activities, as well as, special events designed specifically for this population.

In addition, the department encourages all community members that may have a disability to participate in programs, and all attempts shall be made to accommodate the individual.
