Annual Asphalt Overlay Projects Announced

The City of Dubuque’s annual asphalt overlay program is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 8, and will improve seven and half miles of city streets during the 2017 construction season.

The first of 42 projects will be on Roosevelt St., from Sky Blue Dr. to Peru Rd.

2017 Art on the River Sculptures Chosen, Opening Announced

The City of Dubuque announces the selection of 11 works of outdoor sculpture for the 2017 Art on the River Exhibition. In its twelfth year, there were 56 entries from 33 artists.

City Offers Food Scrap 'Recycling' Options

The City of Dubuque reminds its residential curbside collection customers that it offers multiple options for them to “recycle” their food scraps rather than dispose of them with their trash.

The City’s curbside food scrap collection program accepts all food scraps (including meat and bones); coffee filters and tea bags; all food-soiled paper cups and paper plates; and paper towels, placemats, napkins, and bags.
