Handan, China Photo Exhibit

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS - HANDAN EXHIBIT
The Sister City Relationships Advisory Commission recently received a grant of $3,000.00 from Humanities Iowa, a state-based affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, in support of a project called A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words.The photograph's in the exhibit were a gift from Dubuque's Sister City - Handan,China. The exhibit was presented by the Dubuque Sister City Relationships Advisory Commission and consisted of a traveling photograph exhibit at the following libraries in Iowa: Dubuque Carnegie Stout Public Library, Peosta Library, NICC Library (Calmar Campus), Elkader Library, McGregor Library, Eastern Iowa Community College Library in Muscatine, James Kennedy Public Library in Dyersville and the Roshek Building in Dubuque.
